Designers, writers, editors, developers, production, and multimedia producers collaborate to execute every detail with precision and artistry. Whether crafting visuals, content, or digital experiences, they turn strategy into stunning, results-driven work that makes an impact.
The five values below aren't aspirational language from a strategy document. They're the commitments we make to every client, every partner, and every person on our team, in every engagement. We mean them — and we hold ourselves to them.
We believe the strongest organizations are the most genuine. That’s why we create messaging and visuals that reflect your brand’s true mission and purpose—just meaningful storytelling that resonates and builds lasting connections.
Great design isn’t just about looking good—it’s about making people feel something. Our approach blends strategy with creativity, ensuring every element is thoughtfully designed to engage, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.
Change is constant, and we embrace it. We stay ahead of trends, pivot when needed, and approach every challenge with flexibility and innovation, ensuring that your brand and strategies remain relevant, resilient, and ready for the future.
We hold ourselves to the highest standard, honoring our commitments and delivering work that not only meets expectations but exceeds them. Your success is our priority, and we take ownership of every detail to make sure you get results.
Every client, collaborator, and creative challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow, and create something exceptional. We approach our work with gratitude—because great work isn’t just about the outcome, it’s about the relationships and impact we build along the way.

I graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Advertising and landed my first job as an Assistant Buyer in the Cosmetics Division at Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh — what is now Macy’s. Managing product promotions and analyzing sales data for 50 stores every single day taught me something that has stuck with me ever since: storytelling is what drives sales. Not the product itself. The story around it.
Three years in, I knew retail wasn't my path. So I took a chance on the DC job market, moved in with family in Silver Spring, and within a month landed a position at Macro International — a government consulting firm later acquired by ICF. The clients were federal agencies. The work was research, communications, and organizational strategy. And I was completely hooked.
Over the next 11 years, I worked my way up to Senior Project Director, managing creative for multi-million dollar communications contracts across the U.S. federal government. The work was as varied as it was meaningful — programs to prevent teen suicide, reduce prescription drug abuse in older adults, and improve safety for long-haul truck drivers. Every project was a chance to use creative skills in service of something that genuinely mattered. That combination of craft and purpose became the standard I've never stopped working toward.
From there, I moved into my first full leadership role as Director of Communications for Seamon Corporation— a small woman-owned government contracting firm. For the first time, I was building and managing a team of 40+ creative professionals: designers, writers, meeting planners, and multimedia producers. We won Seamon's first independent communications contract and delivered a brand and outreach strategy that connected Maryland's healthcare providers to the state's new health information exchange. That win crystallized something for me: I wasn't just good at the creative work. I was good at building the systems, the teams, and the culture that made the creative work possible.
In March 2012, I was hired at Abt Associates to build the Creative Services Department from a blank slate. There was no such department. There was no charter, no team, no defined process — just a company that needed a centralized creative capability and the trust of a supervisor who believed I could build it.
I argued for the centralization of creative services for four reasons: better brand consistency and quality control, reduced outsourcing costs, faster turnaround for clients, and greater collaboration between creative and program staff. My supervisor trusted me. We started with a handful of designers scattered across different parts of the company. We finished with a team of 26 — and a reputation as the most reliable, highest-quality creative operation in the firm.
In 2017, I led creative direction on the CDC Zika Prevention Communications Campaign in which Abt earned a MarCom Platinum Award for outstanding traditional and social media in the areas of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness. We developed and disseminated over 370+ products over a 3-month period reaching over 37 million people in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. For my team efforts on winning and delivering on that work, I won Abt's George Michaels Award (not the singer), for Outstanding Entrepreneurial Accomplishment for building a cross-company communications practice, achieving $30 million in sales, and developing a pipeline of opportunities across diverse clients.
In December of 2023, I led the rebranding of Abt Associates to Abt Global — a full enterprise rebrand across a global workforce and decades of institutional history. That was my last major project before I decided to build something of my own.
After 27 years, the most important thing to me has been the relationships I’ve built along the way. I’ve been lucky to have worked alongside so many gifted communicators, visionaries, innovators, and change agents that have shaped my values, influenced my path, and reinforced my love of all things creative. My leaders, mentors, teammates, and colleagues have inspired me, made me laugh, sometimes cry, but more often pushed me to be better.
When you work with Sabol Creative, you get me — and the team I've been trusted to lead and grow for nearly three decades. You get the expertise, the accountability, and the relationship. That's what I've always believed great creative work should feel like.
